Do you HATE eating chicken?
We’ve always heard that white meat like chicken and fish are among the mightier meats that we can add to our diets. But it’s difficult to look forward to a dry meal with little flavor, right?
Well, chicken doesn’t have to be a dreaded dish – in fact, good chicken is something you keep coming back for again and again. Here are a few things that you can do to make it a family favorite again!
- Change your Chicken
Your basic grocery store chicken is PUMPED with water and hormones, so it’s no wonder that the flavor is lacking. For a better flavor (and an all-around healthier meal), go for all-natural or pasture-raised chicken breast. You’ll find that it is bursting with flavor and quite a bit more tender when it’s cooked.
- Observe your Oils
Cooking your chicken in a healthy oil will make a world of difference in the flavor of your meat, and it actually is very good for you. Add a small amount of olive or canola
oil to your dish while it cooks, and not only will the flavor pop, but you’ll retain a lot of the moisture in the chicken as well (say buh-bye to nasty, dusty chicken. YUCK)!
- Spice up your Spices
Adding spices is the key to a great chicken dish. Aside from adding too much salt, most spices can be used as much as you’d like to add flavor and flare to your plate. Try adding things like Paprika, Ginger, or Cayenne Pepper to your chicken breast for flavor AND an increased metabolism after you’re all done eating!
